This Italian-influenced Mediterranean style was designed to resemble a Maltese villa that was one of the owners' childhood home. An ivory and white color palette suggests limestone, a common Maltese building material. Interior and exterior Tuscan columns and marble; red shingles that resemble clay tiles; and traditional Italian garden landscaping all blend to create a livable and authentic Mediterranean ambiance. Monte Chiarra means “Mountain of Light” in Italian, and the name also reflects this home's location and light-filled interiors.
